Dublin Food & Beer Tips from a Local

Here’s a guest post from our Irish friend Kate O’Driscoll with a great Dublin food and beer tip—who knew pizza was a thing in Ireland?

Hey Beer Trippers! Is there anything better than the combination of good food and beer when visiting Dublin?

I think not, especially when these two passions are collaborated by Rascals Brewing Company in the form of epic pizza and an awesome tap list!! 

Recently we enjoyed our second time visiting this quirkily, vibrant establishment and it didn’t disappoint! Delicious thin-crust pizzas cooked to order with a variety of local and seasonal Irish produce… the best thing for me—being highly wheat intolerant—is to be able to partake of the feast as they offer a gluten-free base great work lads!

The range of fresh from the fermenter seasonal beers has everything you could want to compliment your pizza! Including custom beer flights if you’re terminally indecisive like me! Plenty of options from IPAs to stouts and everything in between.

I can’t recommend a visit to Rascals HQ in Inchicore Dublin highly enough. I can’t wait to return again! Perhaps I’ll see you when you visit on the Dublin Down Epic Beer Trip in September!

Is it weird that I’m still dreaming of my pizza and the Pale Stout I enjoyed so much? Absolutely not!!
