4 Great Movies About Beer
Nothing beats a movie that involves beer as part of the plot. Here are my four favorites:
The Greatest Beer Run Ever is a true story about a guy (played by Zac Efron) who travels to Vietnam—in 1967 during the war—to take beer to his buddies. Friendship + beer = awesome!
Strange Brew features a couple Canadian brothers Bob (Rick Moranis) and Doug McKenzie (Dave Thomas) who uncover a sinister mind-control plot and set forth to save the world + drink plenty of beer. This really could happen.
Beerfest tells a fictional story about an international beer-games competition. Full of sophomoric humor and beer, this movie is a great flick to watch on a rainy day while drinking a few pints. Consider adding Dodgeball: A true Underdog Story and make it a double feature of misfit fun.
Nothing to Declare relives a true story about two lads (10 and 13) from Dublin who made the trip from Ireland to New York City hoping to meet Mr. T! The cool thing = they did this as stowaways. This documentary is not really about beer; however, I learned about it during an Epic Beer Trip to Ireland while drinking a beer called Hop-on at Hope Brewery (a fantastic beer and a fun story)!
